Heat Transfer Module News in COMSOL® Version 5.6

We will start by presenting the new ability to define direction-dependent surface properties for surface-to-surface radiation. You can use this functionality to model anisotropic surfaces such as textured surfaces where, for example, the emissivity is directionally dependent. Other news includes a Phase Change Interface boundary condition, a framework for defining and using porous materials in simulations, and features for heat and moisture transport in porous media.
