Transport of Dilute Species coupled to laminar flow

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

I am trying to couple the transport of dilute species and the laminar flow modules. However, I receive an error every time I try to sole for the dilute species (study 2 in my model).

What am I doing wrong?

Attached is the model file.

Thanks!
MRW

Hi!

Study 2 should have some solved value for flow. Now it is using initial expression. Change Solver 2 => Dependent Variables => Method => Initial expression to solution and select Solution to Solver 1.

Best regards

Tero

Hi Tero,

That worked, thank you.

Do you know if there is a way to change the properties of the dilute species?

Thanks!

Hi!

What do you mean by changing properties? Changing bulk material or diffusion?

I want to change the shape of my particles (the dilute species). However, I think I need to use a different type of physics.

Thanks!!

The diffusion coefficient (D) is the only parameter that you can change. Please try it. I also do some research on this aspect. I am also a new one....
