Comparing Intel Core i7-870 Workstation and Intel Xeon E7-4870

Hello,

I have a question about computing time of the same model at different computer.

First the informations.

Model: I am solving a magnetic field in 3D with a stationary study type.
The Model has 4924938 numbers of degrees of freedom.

First Computer: HP Workstation with Intel Core i7-870 @ 2,93GHz.
Number of processor cores: 8
8GB ram.

Second Computer: Server with Intel Xeon CPU E7-4870 @ 2,40 GHz
Number of processor cores: 64
512GB ram.

Question: If I solve the absolutely same model at both computers,
the first computer needs 361 seconds and the second computer
needs 412 seconds. Why need the server longer than the workstation?
Is this normal?

Thank you for your help.

Dirk
