Difference operation generates sharp corners

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I am trying to generate a difference between two objects and keep the subtracted object which is arrayed with fine features. However, due to the order of magnitude difference in size, resulting object has sharp corners. Is there any way to fix this?

Thanks

  1. Try changing the value of the "Repair Tolerance" in the Settings panel for the specific Difference operation in question.
  2. Alternatively, add more points going around that small curve, so that the details won't be lost when you do the difference.
  3. If you want better advice, I suggest you post your .mph file to forum so that others can examine it in detail.

Thanks Robert, I increased the feature size and the issue is resolved.
