Using Selections to Streamline Your COMSOL Multiphysics Modeling Workflow

Duration: 25:42

In this tutorial video series, you will learn how to use all of the named selection tools available in the COMSOL Multiphysics simulation software.

Named selections include Explicit, Coordinate-based, Boolean, Adjacent, and Cumulative selections. These tools enable you to create selections of geometric entities in your model, which can then be used throughout your modeling workflow. Selections can provide many advantages when developing your simulation, such as organizing your model setup, maintaining any assignments or definitions, and creating customized selections of geometric entities, among other benefits.

Depending on the named selection tool you use, different capabilities are available. After watching this video series, you will know the advantages of each selection type as well as how to create and use them in your COMSOL Multiphysics model.
