invalid license for windows 7 but works for windows xp ??

Hello,

I tried to install comsol 4.0 in my Windows 7, but when I chose my license file the following message appears: Invalid license, I did the same procedure for a Windows XP and it works I can get explanations or advices about this: (?

I would guess that you don't have a computer with both Win 7 and Win XP. It's two separate computers, right?
License files are specific to a computer, so if you try to install on a computer with a license file that was created for another machine that won't work. You will need to contact your COMSOL rep.
