Sir,
I am modelling radiation inside a shell in which radiation occurs among surfaces and also among surfaces and ambient environment but the surfaces get shadowed when I use a single surface for both surface surface radiation and surface ambient environment radiation.
Can you please tell me how to account for both phenomena.
Thank you,
Sincerely,
Hemant

Hi

in general you have two types of BC's, the exclusive and cummulative, probably you are adding two exclusive BC's that COMSOL cannot resolve. Now this could also be limitations from the version you use, COMSOl has improved greatly from the early 4.0

Good luck
