triangularly distributed load

Hi,

I wonder if it is possible to model a triangularly distributed load on a cantilever beam .

Moreover, is it possible to model a load varying with the function of the coordinate ?

Hi

normally you apply a boundary load on a predefined boundary, the easiest, but if you select a large boundary and define a load as a function of the coordinates you can mathematically limit the load to a subregion of your boundary.

I do belieev your matrices tend to b more tough to inverse, but with todays computers it mostly works quite OK
